Terms of Service
Last updated: September 12, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of omnirouter.cc and the OmniRouter AI gateway (the "Service"), provided by OmniRouter Labs ("OmniRouter", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
OmniRouter provides a unified API gateway that routes your requests to third-party AI model providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google) through a single endpoint and account. We are a routing and billing layer; the underlying models are operated by their respective providers.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for any API keys you generate. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any law or the usage policies of the upstream model providers.
- Conduct or assist penetration testing, intrusion, port or vulnerability scanning, or any other unauthorized access against systems, networks, or accounts you do not own or are not expressly authorized in writing to test.
- Research, develop, or refine exploits, malware, ransomware, phishing kits, botnets, credential-stuffing tools, or other automated attack tooling, including using model output as an intermediate step.
- Generate or distribute pornographic or sexually explicit content, or other adult material prohibited by the applicable upstream provider's policies. Sexual content involving minors is prohibited without exception and will be reported, as is non-consensual sexual content.
- Generate or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful, or that targets others for abuse — including fraud, gambling, drugs, weapons, disinformation, and violations of others' privacy.
- Circumvent an upstream provider's safety systems, including jailbreak prompts, safety-filter evasion, and account or rate-limit circumvention.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Resell or sublicense access in a way that circumvents these Terms, or share your account credentials.
- Access or attempt to access the Service from any comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction (including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Russian-occupied regions of Ukraine), or from any jurisdiction where use of the Service or of the upstream models is prohibited by applicable law.
Because requests are routed to upstream providers, you must also comply with their respective acceptable-use and content policies.
Enforcement. Where we reasonably believe this section has been breached, we may rate-limit, restrict, suspend, or terminate the account — with no refund of any remaining balance — and may report the matter to the relevant upstream provider or competent authority. We may apply automated screening of request metadata and content to detect the patterns described above.
Geographic eligibility and user warranties. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in, and will not access the Service from, any of the sanctioned jurisdictions listed above; (ii) you are not on any sanctions list maintained by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the European Union, the United Kingdom, or any other applicable authority; and (iii) your use of the Service — including the specific upstream provider(s) you route to — is permitted under the laws of your jurisdiction and under the applicable upstream provider's terms of service, acceptable use policy, and geographic eligibility rules. Compliance with those laws and third-party terms is your sole responsibility, and we may suspend or terminate access at any time upon a reasonable belief that this section has been breached.
4. Billing, balance, and credits
The Service is prepaid: you top up a balance, and usage is deducted per request based on the model and token counts at the rates shown on our pricing page. Your balance does not expire. Prices may change as upstream provider pricing changes; current rates always govern new requests.
Except where required by law, top-ups and consumed usage are non-refundable. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your use of the Service.
5. API keys
API keys authenticate requests against your balance. Keep them confidential. You are responsible for all usage and charges incurred through your keys, including as a result of leaked or misused keys. You may rotate or revoke keys at any time from your dashboard.
6. Third-party providers
Your use of upstream models is also subject to the terms of the relevant providers. Model availability, capabilities, and behavior are controlled by those providers and may change or be discontinued without notice. We are not responsible for the content generated by the models.
Trademarks and non-affiliation. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic PBC. GPT and Codex are trademarks of OpenAI, Inc. Gemini is a trademark of Google LLC. All other product names and trademarks referenced on our site or in the documentation are the property of their respective owners. OmniRouter is an independent developer platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic PBC, OpenAI, Inc., Google LLC, or any other upstream provider. References to model or vendor names are made solely to identify the third-party services that our gateway can route requests to.
7. Affiliate program
If you participate in our affiliate or referral program, you agree to any additional program rules. We may withhold or reverse rewards obtained through fraud, self-referral, or other abuse.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any model will remain available.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OmniRouter will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including billing, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
